EEPLIANT4 Launch Event
The EU co-funded Concerted Action EEPLIANT4 is ready to be officially launched. 25 MSAs and 3 other organisations from 22 countries will work together to support the implementation and enforcement of the EU Ecodesign and Energy Labelling regulations for energy-related products and durably improve market surveillance in these fields. The project is coordinated by PROSAFE and will run until April 2029.
We are building on our work that started in 2015 with EEPLIANT1, and further developed during the implementation of EEPLIANT2 and EEPLIANT3.
The Launch Event will be held online, on 20 September 2024, 9:30 to 13:30 CET.
During the event, we will discuss why coordinated actions like EEPLIANT4 are important for EU market surveillance authorities, consumers and the industry and present the 13 project activities (Work Packages):
- WP1: Management, Communication, Dissemination, Exploitation, Sustainability and Replication
- WP2: Refrigerating appliances
- WP3: Tyres (C2, C3, re-treaded)
- WP4: Electronic Displays
- WP5: Cooking appliances
- WP6: Vacuum cleaners
- WP7: Off-mode - network standby
- WP8: Air heating and cooling products
- WP9: Solid fuel space heaters
- WP10: Training and study visits
- WP11: Emerging issues and challenges
- WP12: Joint Activities with Customs
- WP13: Development of digital tools for EL/ED market surveillance
