EEPLIANT2 Final Events from 4 to 5 February 2020

The Energy Efficiency Compliant Products 2016 (EEPLIANT2) which started in September 2017 is coming to an end. To mark this occasion a Final Conference will be organised on 4 February 2020 at the premises of PROSAFE, Brussels.

The EEPLIANT2 Joint Action, consisting of 17 Market Surveillance Authorities (MSAs) from across the EU, with PROSAFE as a coordinator, has organised coordinated monitoring, verification and enforcement activities, including product testing of domestic and professional refrigeration and network standby. On 5 February, PROSAFE together with the European Commission will organise a brainstorming Workshop to stimulate a discussion with all MSAs about the surprisingly high rate of non-compliance detected following tests in EEPLIANT2. The workshop's purpose is to understand the causes and investigate new ways of action to improve the situation. The event is open only to MSAs and the European Commission.
