EEPLIANT2 Third Newsletter

EEPLIANT2 is a concerted action funded by the European Union (EU) under the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme. The project addresses the challenge of building a common approach within 16 EU Member States for the Energy Efficiency and Ecodesign market surveillance.
The great added value of EEPLIANT2 comes from, on one hand, the common inspection procedures and shared sampling and testing programme, and, on the other hand, the harmonisation of the evaluation of results and enforcement actions taken by the seventeen market surveillance authorities.

Preliminary results of the inspection and testing programme are now available for the three product groups: household refrigerating appliances, professional refrigerating cabinets and network standby. A brief summary is included below.
