EEPLIANT4 First Press Release

The Energy Efficiency Compliant Products 4 (EEPLIANT4) is an EU co-funded Concerted Action that builds on the success, good practices, and lessons learnt from the former EEPLIANT Actions (EEPLIANT1, EEPLIANT2 and EEPLIANT3). The project is funded by the European Union under the Programme for the Environment and Climate Action (LIFE) and aims to support the implementation and enforcement of the EU Ecodesign and Energy Labelling regulations for energy-related products and durably improve market surveillance in these fields.

The First Press Release of EEPLIANT4 informs about the launch of the action and the first wave of activities, focused on assessing the level of compliance of refrigerating appliances, tyres, electronic displays, solid fuel local space heaters, as well as horizontal topics such as training and study visits, emerging issues and challenges, and the development of digital tools for market surveillance. You can also find information about novelties in the governance structure of EEPLIANT4.
