EEPLIANT4 First Newsletter

Since its launch in May 2024, EEPLIANT4 has brought together 28 organisations from 22 countries in a five-year EU co-funded Concerted Action designed to strenghten Ecodeaign and Energy Labelling market surveillance across Europe. 

The project is now moving into its full implementation phase and this First Newsletter dives into the challenges emerged from the conducted market and risk analysis and product screening for the eight product categories under compliance verification (refrigerating appliances, tyres, electronic displays, cooking appliances, vacuum cleaners, off-mode/network standby devices, air heating and cooling products and solid fuel local space heaters).

It also elaborates on the initial developments of the project's capacity building activities, aiming at improving the and reinforcing the effectiveness of market surveillance as a system.
