Energy Efficiency ComPLIANT Products 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2023

The primary objective of the EEPLIANT4 Concerted Action is to help deliver the intended economic and environment benefits of the energy labelling and ecodesign regulations by improving compliance rates. This will be accomplished through the coordinated efforts of 26 Market Surveillance Authorities and 2 other organisations from the EU and Turkey. Products

The Consortia of the EEPLIANT Actions, which are comprised of Market Surveillance Authorities and National Agencies under PROSAFE's coordination, have been carrying out coordinated market surveillance actions across different product sectors. Under EEPLIANT4, they will review and test the energy performance of the following products:

EEPLIANT Actions and PROSAFE develop documents (guidelines, training for inspections, templates, etc.) relevant to market surveillance officers and to economic operators involved in area of energy labelling and eco-design.

Events

The EEPLIANT4 Concerted Action will last for a period of 60 months, until April 2029.

During this time, PROSAFE is organising a large amount of work package meetings, trainings and workshops.

EEPLIANT4 is funded under the LIFE PROGRAMME, the EU's funding instrument for the environment and climate action.

PROSAFE and 17 market surveillance authorities and one national energy agency are launching a new project that helps deliver the intended economic and environment benefits of the Energy Labelling and Ecodesign Directives by increasing the rates of compliance with them. 
EEPLIANT2 has started at 1 September 2017 and was officially launched with a conference on 3 October in Brussels.
